6music is on in my home from the moment I get up – for me it’s just the perfect mix of music – sometimes it’s a bit like my brain on the radio. Their presenters are also REAL music nerds – and this is certainly the case with Lauren Laverne (who I did see play with Kenickie a few centuries ago). And Caitlin Moran is just essential listening to anyone with a brain and an ounce of rebellion.
When I heard the two, who share a friendship that even Taylor Swift would envy, were in conversation this lunchtime on Caitlin’s new TV show ‘Raised by wolves’, it made me want to record it, but in my own way, to celebrate both the friendship and what was bound to be full of pearls.
This is it – it was fun to listen and to ‘do’. All the words here are taken from the interview, to give you an idea of what you might have missed…
Now off to catch Raised by wolves on demand…
I bet that was a brilliant interview. Moran’s ‘How to be a Woman’ is one of my favourite reads from recent years.

Oops. Forgot to add that I really like you art work. Great idea to use snippets from the interview as the background.

Thank you – it’s still on the iplayer, so you can catch it there! They just had fun in their own brilliant way….

I now live in the US so the iplayer is sadly off limits to me which is always a shame.

Oh that’s a real shame… At least the snippets will give you a flavour 😉
